Today’s Fitness Friday is plain and simple. You are BEAUTIFUL.
This week Amanda from Amanda Bella had a beautiful post about loving yourself and not comparing yourself to others. I had just woken up, was scrolling through my feed and stubbled upon this post. It was just what I needed to hear. If you haven’t read it yet you can find that here!
After reading that post I kept thinking about it all week long. I was having a spider web of thoughts and landed on one I think about pretty often.
Why can’t we just be happy with the process?I hate to say it but sometimes I find myself saying things like “Oh it will be great when…” “I will be happy when…” “I wish I could just loose that weight now..”
I’m happy and for the first time in my life I’m appreciating my body for what it is. But even then I still have thoughts like that. Down days where I can’t find anything that looks right, and I get caught up in it all.
This post isn’t about the specifics in that though! It’s in the process. I am healthier now than I ever have been. I am stronger. I have more confidence. I’m starting to appreciate my body and what it can do. I am nicer to myself.
So even if I’m not exactly where I want to be, all of that should be enough. Because eventually I will get there.With hard work, confidence and a smile on my face I can do anything!
I made sure to appreciate myself this week and the healthy body that I have. I hope if anything this posts makes you appreciate yours too and that you enjoy whatever process you’re going through right now.
