Blog Swap! My Top 5 Places to Travel to Next

map-1

It’s blog swapping day! The last month just flew by! Make sure you go visit miss Kaitlyn on my blog today! We’re sharing our travel bucket list!

I usually try to take a vacation every 6 months. I just love traveling and exploring new places, but it’s that whole money thing that gets to me every time. And the work schedule to make the money, and then get the time off, to make these vacations happen. Once a year we try to do a nice 10 day vacation! So I’m getting a little vacation fever since we went to Maui in May of this year. Well it’s been 6 months! I’m ready for the next trip!

I’ve been making a list of my next dream destinations and I really hope that we can start planning another trip soon. Getting time off is proving to be a little tough right now. My bucket list for travel could go on forever, but here’s 5 places I’d like to visit!
1. Nashville
My parents just went here and could not stop raving about it! A ton of cute places to see, bars to check out, a ton of music everywhere you go! I am all about those foodie and drink vacations! Definitely going to try to check this out next year!
2. Ireland
Being part Irish, it’s only my duty to go check out the homeland, right? Plus, all that greenery, rolling hills, and the Jameson distillery and Guinness factory? There’s so many things there I need and want to check out!
3. Greece
Okay, I have actually already been to Greece, but I want to see those white buildings! It has ALWAYS been on my bucket list, and I need to make it happen!
4. Bora Bora
Because ever since I found out that there was a place called Bora Bora on this planet, I knew I had to make it there. I looooove tropical places and this one just calls to me!
5. London
I just need to go here. I need to see all of the iconic landmarks and experience this country!
Damn! It was hard to narrow down to just 5 this time around! I really just want to spend a month in Europe. Well, 6 months would probably be ideal, but I’ll take what I can get 🙂
What are some places you’ve been dying to see? What else should I be adding to my list?

  1. We are lucky here in Europe with so much diversity, language, culture etc reachable by a short flight. Dublin to London is a short 50 or so minute flight, you could do both in
    the same trip 🙂

  3. Yay! I love Kaitlyn but shhhhh, you win because you have London on your list! Because obviously this was a competition, and I get to decide who wins. 😂 Haha, sorry for getting weird on you but YOU WANT TO GO TO LONDON, TOO! I do realize it’s not that uncommon to want to go there, but I’m a *bit* obsessive over London. It’s probably my #1 (definitely if we are talking out of country). I want to live there at some point in my life for some period of time. The funny thing is, I’ve always said I should move there for like(at least) a year so that I have ample time to a.) explore the city, but also b.) explore the rest of Europe more easily. 👍🏽 Nashville is a fun one. I have so many places in country that I want to go, that I completely separate those two lists to national and international. Makes it easier for me. You could also say I’m cheating. 😂 But I feel like I have an excuse, because I’ve only been in 4 states, and they are the ones closest to me, so I haven’t seen much variety. California is the biggest difference, followed by the other half of Washington/Idaho which are basically the same. So I feel like I need to have two separate lists. 😁

  4. I’ve been to 4 of the 5 places on your list!
Nashville surprised me. Besides the country music aspect, the city is very metropolitan and vibrant. 🙂 And I had some amazing food there too!
And I lived in Dublin Ireland for a bit – I got to travel around the country a lot (some locals claim I’ve visited more of Ireland than they have!) There’s amazing history there.
I just recently went to Greece on a cruise (2 ports there) and I’m with you – I want to see more!
And lastly, London – I didn’t spend too much time there but did visit Big Ben and did some shopping (of course).
We’re trying to think of where to go next. I’ve been itching to go to Singapore. And Norway. And maybe more places within Canada (where I’m from).
